The City Office hosted its first gathering of 2024, in the backdrop of the newly renovated Bristol Beacon, and on International Women’s Day.
The Gathering brought together over two hundred leaders from the public, private, voluntary and community sectors to work collaboratively on supporting the delivery of the One City Plan.
The audience heard from a number of city leaders on Health, Education, the Workforce, Inclusive Growth, and the Just Transition whilst connecting with other One City stakeholders and exploring opportunities to collaborate to continue to deliver City Priorities.
The City Gathering attendees also learnt about the progress being made across the One City Themes and heard reflections from City Partners Professor Palie Smart (University of Bristol), Suzanne Rolt (Quartet Community Foundation) and Victoria Matthews (Business West) on the impact One City has made and will continue to make in the city.
